Our exciting new Sports Therapy Studio was established in 2024 to compliment the diverse range of therapies already on offer at our clinic.
The Sports Therapy Studio is the perfect place for those wishing to recover from a Sports Injury, achieve personal fitness or health goals, or indeed receive a more rehabilitative approach to their injury.
Our Sports Therapists work closely with our 7 Osteopaths and our Bio-mechanical Podiatrist to ensure patients get the best outcome.
The Sports Therapy Studio is run by our two Sports Therapists Jade Wallace & Kai Tobun. Both Jade and Kai enjoy treating a diverse range of problems affecting people of all ages. Sports Therapy is a field of health care that focuses on the prevention, treatment and management of injuries and can work with individuals whether they play sport or not.

Improve Bone Health, Muscle Tone, Balance & Flexibility
Our Bone Health classes will be lead by our Sports Therapist Jade. The classes have been designed by Jade along with input from our Clinical Directors & Osteopaths Joanna Waterworth and Ross Gemmell. These classes will be best suited for people looking to build or maintain their bone strength as they age and all exercises are designed to have adaptions and progressions for different abilities. The programme has been put together for anyone wanting to improve their functional health, but is unsure where and how to start. Class size max. 6 people.
Do your prescribed exercises, use our equipment, under supervision.
This class is for anyone wishing to do their prescribed exercises by their Osteopath or Sports Therapist but would like either a space with equipment to do them, or would like supervision whilst they do them. The exercise class will be supervised by our Sports Therapist Jade who will be available to give you advice and tuition on your exercises as well as progression if required. These classes are also the perfect space for those who find it difficult to motivate themselves to do their prescribed exercises at home. Class size max. 6 people. Pre-booking is advised but feel free to drop-in on this one.

One kettlebell, One goal: Get toned
What is it? For anyone that has a kettlebell being used as a doorstop or just gathering dust, get it out and come and take part in a Kettlercise class. This is a licensed class with lots of routines. Learn correct techniques, lots of exercises and blast fat! Experience required: None. Equipment required: Own mat, own kettlebell (email Chris at Adapting Fitness for advice on what size is suitable for you), drink to rehydrate.
What is it? A dynamic and flowing style of yoga which links breath to movement in a meditative sequence. This style of yoga builds functional strength, flexibility and endurance in the body, and creates mental calmness and resilience. Classes incorporate breathwork and meditation to bring balance to the mind as well as body. This is a physically challenging practice but different options can be given to suit different levels of fitness and ability. Some prior experience of yoga postures is recommended. Please bring your own yoga mat.
A flowing conditioning class targeting all areas of the body! Helping to improve core strength, flexibility, balance as well as burning fat! Kettlebells can be provided.
A cardio based class with basic aerobic moves working with HIIT training using hand weights! A total full body workout with high energy music to raise the heart rate!!
Hatha yoga, whilst people of any yoga experience level can join in, this is a great way to start your yoga journey and poses can be modified for most people (easier and harder). It doesn't mean it has to be easy, you can still be left knowing you have really worked. Great for everyone. Yoga for beginners (and well-practised yogi's), yoga for strength, mobility and flexibility.
